Job summary

Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Great Falls is hiring an experienced Service Advisor to initiate and manage automotive service requests, verify warranty coverage, and write repair orders. You will communicate with customers and technicians to ensure clear service needs and accurate estimates.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a dealership setting, basic automotive knowledge, and a customer-service mindset. Benefits and a sign-on bonus are available for the right fit.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Advisor/Service Writer experience.
• Previous Dealership experience.
• A team player focused on exemplary customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
• Develop estimates; write repair orders; maintain customer records.
• Communicate between the customer and technician to ensure mutual understanding of needs and services.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer payments incl. deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO) and enter into service database with approvals.
• Communicate additional repair needs to the customer based on inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
