Description of the role:
The Service Advisor at Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction while overseeing the maintenance and repair process of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to understand their vehicle service needs
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with the service team and customers
- Ensure timely completion of service and repairs
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service history
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive service advisory role preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane, ensuring prompt and courteous service
- Take ownership of the customer's experience, ensuring a positive impression
- Provide support for all owner inquiries, via phone or in person
- Ensure technicians' time is efficiently sold and distributed
- Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs
- Maintain Customer Success Index at or above company standards
- Oversee warranty claims administration and supervise the service department
- Reinforce company policies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Maintain good relationships with factories and foster positive employee relations
