Description of the role:
The Service Advisor at Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overseeing the maintenance and repair process of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to understand their vehicle service needs
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with the service team and customers
- Ensure timely completion of service and repairs
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service history
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an automotive service advisory role preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee service orders and flow of the Drive Lane, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective service.
- Take ownership of the customer experience, leaving a positive impression.
- Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, via phone or in person.
- Ensure technicians' time is efficiently sold to service customers.
- Distribute work efficiently among technicians.
- Answer technical questions regarding vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
- Maintain Customer Success Index at or above standards.
- Oversee warranty claims administration and supervise the service department.
- Reinforce company policies and standards, ensuring legal compliance.
- Maintain good relationships with the factory and foster positive employee relations.
