Securitas US Business Unit strives to recruit a Responder Security Officer for full-time placement in Hillsboro, Oregon. The role offers $22.00 per hour and a schedule that includes multiple rotation options to cover coverage needs.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident reporting, and collaboration with client staff to meet daily security objectives. The position emphasizes de-escalation, calm handling of emergencies, and detailed written documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Strong computer / technology skills needed.
• 6 months prior Security experience preferred.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Responder Security Officer — Full Time — Hillsboro, OR

Wage: $22.00/HR

Available Schedule:

1) Tuesday - Saturday 2pm-10pm

2) Friday/Saturday 3pm-11pm, Sunday/Monday 2pm-10pm

3) Friday/Saturday 7am-3pm, Sunday/Monday 6am-2pm

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
