Our Critical Care Units (Intensive Care / ICUs) are located across 9 hospital campuses, where care is provided by a multidisciplinary team using a patient-centered approach. Clinical excellence and patient safety are our top priorities. The Registered Nurse in the ICU is responsible for delivering high-quality care, assessing patients, and coordinating team efforts to provide comprehensive nursing care across the lifespan and through the nursing process.

Applicants must be able to complete an initial 7-day classroom orientation followed by unit orientation.
Minimum of one year of critical care nursing experience required. A personalized orientation program is provided for all areas. Maintain current BLS certification. Nurses with less than 1 year of experience are encouraged to visit our internship page: https://www.slhn.org/nursing-opportunities
Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (Warren Campus).
Must be able to sit up to 2 hours per day, stand for up to 10 hours, walk for 6 hours, and lift/carry/push objects up to 75 lbs. Must be able to transport patients weighing up to 500 lbs. and perceive attributes through touch, hearing, and vision.
