Our ICUs across nine hospital campuses provide care through a multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach. Clinical excellence and patient safety are our priorities. The Registered Nurse in the ICU provides high-level care, assessment, and team coordination for critically ill patients across their lifespan.
Positions may be available on various shifts, including weekend options and per diem. Full-time positions are 36 or 40 hours per week; part-time less than 36 hours; per diem requires a minimum of 2 shifts/month. All candidates must complete initial classroom orientation followed by unit orientation.
Minimum of one year of critical care nursing experience required. An individualized orientation program is provided. Current BLS certification is mandatory. Nurses with less than 1 year of experience are encouraged to visit our internship page: https://www.slhn.org/nursing-opportunities
Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (Warren Campus).
Must be able to sit up to 2 hours, stand for up to 10 hours, walk for 6 hours, and lift objects up to 75 lbs occasionally. Ability to transport patients weighing up to 500 lbs and perceive attributes through touch, hearing, and vision is required.
