Our Critical Care Units (Intensive Care/ICUs) across 9 hospital campuses utilize a multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach. Clinical excellence and patient safety are our top priorities. The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-level care, assessment, and team coordination for critically ill patients across their lifespan, following the nursing process.

Candidates must be able to complete an initial 7-day classroom orientation followed by unit orientation.
Minimum of one year of critical care nursing experience required. An individualized orientation program is provided for all areas. Maintain current BLS certification. Nurses with less than one year of experience are encouraged to visit our internship page: https://www.slhn.org/nursing-opportunities.
Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (Warren Campus).
Must be able to sit up to 2 hours per day, stand for up to 10 hours, walk 6 hours, and lift/carry/push objects up to 75 lbs. Must be able to transport patients weighing up to 500 lbs. through various means. Must have adequate sensory functions: touch, hearing, and vision.
