Utility Lines Construction Services in Fuquay-Varina, NC is seeking a Lighting Technician A with at least three years of lighting experience to install and maintain streetlights and related equipment. The role involves working from aerial devices, ladders, and ground level, and requires safe jobsite practices and knowledge of electrical protections.

Qualifications

• Three years of lighting experience required.
• Must understand lighting work activities and safety.
• Ability to climb structures and work with energized systems.

Responsibilities

• Clears work area and maintains safe jobsite conditions.
• Excavates to assist in installing structures or cable as required by contract specification.
• Communicate work to be performed to public and private property owners.
• Read prints and determine how to isolate protection circuits.
• Participate in medium to large lighting construction activities.
• Assist in installation of lighting power supply.
• Safely work on voltage 600 volts or less.
• Assist a lower-level technician in lighting construction and maintenance activities.
• All other duties as required by Supervisors.
