Job summary

DXC Technology in Aguadilla, PR is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician to join our on-site IT team. You will perform end-user support, imaging of new PCs, and hardware/software troubleshooting to keep business systems productive.

You will work with Active Directory, SCCM, VPN access, and Windows 10/11 plus Mac OS/iOS support. Strong communication in English and precise incident documentation are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant work experience.
Ticket and asset management.
Strong hardware/software installation, support, and troubleshooting.
Windows XP/10/11 experience.
Mac OS and iOS support.
Network printer configuration and moves.
Experience with Active Directory, MS Office, OS365.
VPN connectivity and security support.
Imaging PCs/notebooks via SCCM or standalone.
Remote install of software/hardware.
Basic networking concepts and Hands&Eyes support.
Lift and carry up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

Performs basic analysis of functional or service requirements and implements services.
Operates infrastructure or software platforms and resolves issues within area of responsibility.
Provides patch management, verifies changes, and updates configuration records.
On-site field support to customers and suppliers including installation and servicing.
Troubleshoot hardware issues on desktops, laptops, mobiles, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot software issues on Windows 10, Office, Outlook, and related apps.
Build and reimage PCs, upgrading hardware as needed.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues affecting productivity; understand TCP/IP and VPN.
Perform IMACD activities within SLAs for PCs and peripherals.
Communicate clearly in English with end-users; document resolutions.
Document solutions and incident notes in English.
Audit and manage device asset systems.
Support shipping/receiving, inventory and warehousing processes.
Assist in loading/unloading shipments.
Procurement and IT asset lifecycle management.
Lift up to 39 lbs; assist with heavier lifts as needed.
Work around moving mechanical parts and physical tasks.
