Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• CDL may be required depending on equipment and project needs.
• Proven ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and backhoes safely and proficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Load/unload materials and assist with trenching, grading, and other tasks as directed.
• Follow project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors on site.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical examination.
