You will read blueprints, select tooling, set up welding equipment, and perform welds using arc, SAW, or gas arc processes while adhering to safety standards. Requires 4+ years of welding experience and ability to work at heights.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a weld test.
• Must have 4+ years of industrial welding experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless, aluminum.
• Willingness to perform other duties as needed.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding.
• Layout, position, aligns, cut, assemble, and fit metal components.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas arc welding equipment.
• Weld metal materials to piping systems equipment using the appropriate welding procedure for the various equipment and metal types involved.
• Identify all equipment for job and process.
• Identify all safety risks and requirements.
