Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specifications to determine scope, locations, quantities and sizes of materials.
• Identify tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and follow precautions to mitigate them.
• Prepare, fabricate, install and fit pipe to specifications.
• Install valves, hangers, supports and flanges inside piping systems according to plans.
• Perform tests to ensure quality of pipe and piping systems.
• Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables and other rigging equipment.
