Zachry Group is seeking a Combo Welder to weld, fabricate, and assist pipe fitters, electricians, millwrights, and ironworks in installing equipment and supports for industrial systems. The role requires reading blueprints, welding diverse materials, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work at heights and in varied weather is needed. Qualifying candidates will have 4+ years of industrial welding experience, pass a weld test, and be able to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.

Qualifications

• Must pass a weld test.
• Must have 4+ years of industrial welding experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints and other engineering drawings.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Must have experience welding carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, or related metals.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment, plans layouts, and applies welding techniques.
• Layout, position, align, cut, assemble, and fit metal components.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure for welding.
• Sets up welding equipment and welds parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas arc methods.
• Welds metal materials to piping systems and equipment as required.
