Job summary

ZACHRY is seeking an experienced Industrial Combo Welder for CHENIERE in Cameron, LA. The role involves welding, fabrication, and assisting pipe fitters in installing industrial pipe within piping systems.

Candidate must have 4+ years of welding experience, be able to weld in 2G/4G/6G, and hold current welding certification with Zachry or pass a weld test. Requires TWIC and driver license, ability to read blueprints, and compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 4+ years welding experience on industrial size and grade pipe (Schedules 40, 80, 160).
• Ability to weld in 2G, 4G, and 6G conditions; stick and TIG welding on pipe.
• Must have current applicable welding certification with Zachry or pass weld test.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to perform work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding for piping systems.
• Layout, align, cut, assemble, and fit metal components in various positions.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure for welding.
• Set up equipment and perform welding (arc, GMAW, SAW) as required.
• Weld metal materials to piping systems using appropriate procedures.
• Identify equipment and safety risks for the job.
