Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking an experienced RN for ICU/Cardiac ICU night shifts. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments to protect patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualified applicants hold a nursing degree and a current RN license (state or compact); BLS is required within 30 days, with ACLS or other ICU certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an approved school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where duties are performed.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains professional accountability for care provided.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care by direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in all duties.
