Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Experienced ICU Nurse for the Cardiac ICU, working FT Nights. The role involves applying the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinating across departments, and ensuring patient advocacy and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy standards.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, an associates diploma or BSN, and relevant certifications such as BLS; ACLS/NRP/ENPC may be preferred based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license for the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
