Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work orders or job specs for bindery requirements.
• Calculate distances, clearances, and fits for binding equipment.
• Set up and adjust bindery machines to specifications.
• Understand paper stock quality and finishing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of bindery machines and accessories.
• Operate automatic bindery units to produce final books and catalogs.
• Inspect equipment for safety and monitor production quality.
• Coordinate multi-station machines to optimize workflow.
