The City of Champaign, operating METCAD 9-1-1 in Champaign County, is seeking an Experienced Telecommunicator I with at least two years in a multi-jurisdictional emergency communications center. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' full-time, continuous experience in a multi-jurisdictional center within the last 5 years.
• Completed training program in the most recent center.
• Complete probationary period in the most recent center.

Responsabilités

• Perform emergency and non-emergency telephone and two-way radio communications for police, fire, and EMS.
• Complete steps of the hiring process (apply, testing via NTN, attestation upload).
• Attend informational sessions, interviews, background checks, and drug/psychological screenings.
