Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hotel, banquet, or high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, production sheets, and portion standards with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets.
• Use grilling, sautéing, roasting, baking, frying, steaming, and broiling.
• Ensure food meets quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, rotation, and sanitation.
• Maintain clean, organized stations, equipment and storage areas.
• Assist with prep, inventory, and production planning as directed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage teams for seamless service.
• Support banquet, catering, and events as needed.
• Uphold health, safety, and Marriott brand standards.
• Contribute to a positive kitchen culture focused on teamwork and excellence.
