Job summary

Transamerica's Expense Management internship supports reporting, oversight, and forecasting activities for the finance team. You will work with large data sets to analyze results and help the team understand financial implications.

The role involves assisting in monthly expense reporting, variance analysis, and data management to support budgeting and forecasting processes, using Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in college/university in a business analytics, accounting, finance, or analytical degree.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly expense reporting and variance analysis.
• Handle data for budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Work with large data sets to analyze results and support financial insights.
• Support close processes for amortization and capitalization entries.
• Engage with the Expense Management team to learn all roles and responsibilities.
