Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing an accounting degree.
• Internships not available for students who have completed their college education or will graduate before the internship ends.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional accounting work involving data compilation, consolidation and analysis.
• Draft segments of statements and disclosures ensuring information is complete and accurate.
• Reconcile and adjust accounting information under deadlines.
• Prepare financial statements, disclosures, and reports for management and the parent company.
• Use multiple financial systems to produce analyses.
• Identify and resolve reconciliation or posting issues with guidance.
