The hourly wage is $21 per hour. This role offers intern-exclusive events and networking opportunities throughout the summer, with compensation described as competitive.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a college or university pursuing an accounting degree.
• Internships are not available for students who have completed their college education or who will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data.
• Drafts segments of statements and disclosures and ensures the information is complete and accurate.
• Reconciles, investigates, corrects, and adjusts accounting information under deadlines.
• Prepares financial statements, disclosures, and other reporting requirements for internal management and the parent company.
• Uses multiple financial systems and reporting tools to produce analyses.
• Proactively identifies problems and seeks help to resolve them.
• Project work and ad-hoc requests as needed.
• Assists in the consolidation and reporting of budget and forecast results.
• Adheres to the company's internal controls framework.
