Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an expeditor to ensure a smooth flow of orders from servers to the culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will verify dish accuracy, temperature, and presentation, and coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff on special requests or dietary needs to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a fast-paced restaurant is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the efficient flow of orders from servers to the culinary team.
• Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature.
• Communicate essential information between the kitchen and front-of-house staff (special requests, dietary needs).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• The expeditor will help manage the efficient flow of orders from the servers to the culinary team
• Ensure orders are being prepared and quickly assembled by communicating to the culinary team across the linel
• Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature
• Communicate any essential information between the kitchen and the front of house staff such as special requests or dietary needs
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• The expeditor will be able to adapt and work as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments but remain calm under pressure
• One year experience in a fast-paced restaurant needed
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods of time
