Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer to own full lifecycle systems engineering for expeditionary and ruggedized platforms. You will develop architectures and decompose requirements across mechanical, electrical, software, and thermal domains, ensuring traceability and testability in a fast-paced defense environment.

You will travel to field sites, support environmental qualification, and contribute to documentation such as ICDs, ConOps, and SEMPs, while working with Cameo,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems/Mechanical/Electrical/ Aerospace/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2–6 years of systems engineering experience in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience maturing systems from design to production or fielding.
• Ability to work across engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing).
• Strong requirements development and documentation, excellent written and verbal communication.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architectures across mechanical, electrical, software, thermal, and power domains.
• Decompose needs into system/subsystem requirements with traceability and testability.
• Create and maintain ICDs, block diagrams, ConOps, and requirements specs.
• Drive SWaP, transportability, survivability, and human factors trades.
• Lead design reviews with cross-functional teams.
