Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a senior systems engineer to lead end-to-end development of integrated robotic and software systems for defense applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and product management to define requirements and drive architecture.

The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, testing, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions in a distributed environment, with travel and onsite work at the Costa Mesa, CA headquarters.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of industry experience in systems engineering, electrical engineering or aerospace engineering.
• Hands-on prototyping, testing and building of complex robotic systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience developing automated test scripts/frameworks (Python, MATLAB, etc).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and onsite work at Costa Mesa, CA HQ.

Responsibilities

• Lead development for end-to-end solutions by defining requirements and system architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components meeting functional and performance requirements.
• Test and debug to ensure reliability, scalability, and resilience of software in distributed environments.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers for seamless software-hardware integration.
• Document software engineering processes and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
