Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Systems Engineer for the Tactical Recon & Strike division, working on Altius, Anvil, Bolt, and Ghost. You will guide cross-functional teams, drive technical direction, and ensure robust design for mission-critical capabilities.

This role requires a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in electrical and systems engineering, and a willingness to travel up to 25% for test field events. Active U.S. security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming experience and Python/C++/Rust for analysis and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Define systems engineering strategies to drive requirements and verification for core products.
• Design, develop, and implement automated system-level integration tests and flight testing.
• Define testing strategies for system and software requirements.
• Own delivery on multiple programs with broad, ambiguous requirements.
• Coordinate test events from in-lab simulations to hardware-in-the-loop demonstrations.
• Define a strategy to comply with industry standards (NATO UAV, MIL-STD-882E).
• Demonstrate ownership and align programs with the technical roadmap.
• Collaborate with hardware, product, and test ops teams as needed.
• Understand architectural implementation and propose alternatives when needed.
