Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support the dental team and maintain efficient patient flow. You will assist doctors, prepare operatory rooms, and ensure sterilization and HIPAA compliance.

You will take dental radiographs, educate patients on oral care, and help train staff while managing supplies and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license or certification as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification and ongoing CE as specified by state.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient at chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and complete sterilization processes.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and provide patient instruction for oral care.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and monitor patient flow.
• Train others to execute patient handoffs and maintain supplies within budget.
