Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support Doctors and Hygienists in daily patient care. You will perform chairside assistance, manage operatory setup, sterilization, and radiographs while maintaining HIPAA and OSHA compliance.

The role offers full-time hours, a competitive hourly wage of $17 to $19, and a benefits package including PTO, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) with match. TAG-U CE courses are provided to support your growth in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license/registration as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification as required by state.
• 2+ years experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Maintain annual CE requirements as specified by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Assist the office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Prepare operatory rooms and sterilize equipment after procedures.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and educate patients on oral care.
• Monitor OSHA and HIPAA compliance and maintain equipment and supplies.
