Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to help create lasting impressions and trust with patients. You will assist with doctor supervision, prepare operatory rooms, and support charting and patient flow in a busy dental office.

Requirements include a current dental assistant license, radiology certification, CPR/BLS, and 2+ years of experience. Training and certification in expanded functions may be needed, with a focus on infection control and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license or certification as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and educate patients on care.
• Monitor and aid in management of laboratory cases.
• Order and maintain supplies within the practice budget.
