Aspen Dental is hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support patient care with precision and compassion. You will assist doctors, prepare operatory rooms, and manage charting under HIPAA guidelines while maintaining sterilization standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license/registration as required by state.
• State radiology/x-ray certification requirements.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Demonstrate sterilization and infection control techniques.
• Maintain annual CE requirements as specified by state.
• State certification in expanded functions as required.

Responsabilités

• Assist daily operations and support DA office team to maintain patient flow.
• Assist doctors during a variety of dental procedures.
• Break down operatory rooms after procedures.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and rooms.
• Follow maintenance schedules for waterlines and autoclave routines.
• Prepare trays and operatory setups for procedures.
• Support patient charting and documentation.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
