Job summary

Aspen Dental in Florida is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support patient care and keep the dental practice running smoothly.

The role involves assisting doctors, sterilization, radiographs, patient education, and training staff while maintaining HIPAA compliance and OSHA guidelines.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ($17–$19) and a benefits package including PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match and ongoing CE opportunities through TAG U.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license or registration as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily Expanded Functions duties to support patient care.
• Assist office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory, train staff on procedures.
