Job summary

The Smilist Dental in Langhorne, PA is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (Pediatrics) to support pediatric patient care. The role requires PA X-ray and EFDA licenses, with experience as a dental assistant and comfort in a fast-paced team.

You will prepare trays, assist doctors, maintain sterile operatory, escort patients, and contribute to a friendly, patient-centered environment. Full-time schedule Monday through Thursday, no weekends, with competitive hourly compensation and

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Must have a PA X-ray license.
• EFDA license required.
• Prior pediatrics experience strongly desired.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures.
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Position Details:

• Schedule:Full Time - Monday through Thursday - no weekends!
• Salary Range:$25.00-$30.00/hour
• Location:Langhorne, PA
