The Smilist in Langhorne, PA is seeking a reliable Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. You will support doctors during procedures, prepare trays, and keep the operatory clean and organized while ensuring patient comfort.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dental assistant experience.
• PA X-ray license required.
• EFDA license required.
• Familiarity with dental instruments and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while addressing individual concerns and promoting the doctor’s qualities.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors to enable efficient, high-quality care.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain supply levels in each operatory, replenishing as needed.
• Follow management directions and perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our growing practice and contribute to our mission of excellent dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year
• Must have a PA x-ray license
• EFDA license required
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Position Details:

• Schedule:Full Time - Monday through Friday - no weekends!
• Salary Range:$25.00-$30.00/hour
• Location:Langhorne, PA
