Job summary

The Smilist Dental in Langhorne, PA is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our friendly, professional team. You will assist doctors, prepare trays, maintain a sterile operatory, and escort patients as needed.

We require at least 1 year as a dental assistant, PA X-ray license, EFDA license, and strong communication. Dentrix experience is a plus. We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (minimum 1 year).
• Must possess a PA x-ray license.
• EFDA license required.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment and procedures.
• Dentrix experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment and address concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and assist doctors during procedures.
• Escort patients to and from the front desk.
• Prepare tray setups and manage supply levels in each operatory.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep patients focused on optimal treatment while attending their individual concerns and promoting the good qualities of their doctor
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patient feels comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient quality dental treatment
• Escort patients to and from the front desk
• Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory, ordering and replenishing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant - at least 1 year
• Must have a PA x-ray license
• EFDA license required
• Knowledge of dental instruments, equipment, and procedures
• Prior Dentrix experience preferred, but not required

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full Time - Monday through Friday - no weekends!
• Salary Range: $30.00-$35.00/hour
• Location: Langhorne, PA
