Aspen Dental is hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in the United States. You will perform chairside duties, assist doctors, and manage operatory setup to support efficient patient flow.

Requirements include an active Dental Assistant license, radiology certification, CPR/BLS, and 2+ years’ experience. CE upkeep and HIPAA compliance are important, with the potential for growth within a supportive, education-forward culture.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license/registration as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• Current CPR or BLS certificate.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient at chairside assisting/four-handed dentistry.
• Maintain CE requirements as specified by state.

Responsibilities

• As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, assist with directing office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and safe practice standards.
• Take dental radiographs and provide oral care instructions post-treatment.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-care steps.
• Order and maintain supplies within the practice budget.
