Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring a Dental Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced practice. You will assist doctors, manage operatory setup, and ensure sterilization and safety protocols are followed.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of experience, state license/certification, radiology credentials, and CPR/BLS. The role includes a generous benefits package, ongoing training, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant License/Certification as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with directing the DA office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists.
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory; ensure staff are trained.
• Follow maintenance schedules for waterlines, suction lines, autoclave, etc.
• Tray and operatory set-up for all procedures.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Train others to execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow.
• Follow OSHA regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Educate patients on post-treatment oral care.
