Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support doctors and the team across daily procedures. You will manage chairside assistance, sterilization, and patient flow while ensuring patient comfort and compliance with safety standards.

The role requires radiology certification, CPR/BLS, and 2+ years of experience. This position involves training, charting, and providing patient with post-treatment care instructions in a fast-paced office.

Qualifications

• License/registration or certification as required by state.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state.
• Current CPR or BLS certificate.
• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Maintain productive patient flow and assist the DA office team.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and prepare trays for procedures.
• Follow sterilization, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety protocols.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and educate patients on oral care.
