Aspen Dental is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in Aspen, CO. You will support doctors, assist with a variety of procedures, and help maintain smooth patient flow in a fast-paced dental practice.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license and state registration.
• State radiography certification required.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience.
• Proficient at chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Commitment to infection control and sterilization standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Follow maintenance schedules for waterlines and autoclave.
• Prepare trays and operatory setup for procedures.
• Support patient charting for doctors.
• Train others on patient handoffs and flow.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
• Take dental radiographs and provide post-care instructions.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and care.
