Job summary

Paso Robles Joint Unified School District is seeking an Expanded Day Learning Classroom Lead for Virginia Peterson Elementary. This role supports after-school programming by assisting with care, supervision, and learning activities under the district guidelines.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing activities that meet student needs, while following district policies and state regulations. The position is 4.7 hours daily, 10 months, 193 days.

Qualifications

• High School Graduation or equivalent; must meet one of the listed requirements.
• ~48 semester college units; transcripts required.
• District Paraeducator Exam given Thursdays at PRJUSD District office (1 pm).
• Certificate of Proficiency for Instructional Aides (NCLB certificate).
• College Associates degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist in care, supervision, planning and implementation of learning activities for students in the After-School Program.
• Adhere to school district policies and applicable State/Federal regulations.
