Job summary

San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking a Para Educator II-Lead Teacher for an extended day program at Annex sites, 10-month schedule, M-F, mornings and afternoons as described. You will supervise staff, support enrichment activities, and ensure student safety in a fast-paced school setting.

Requirements include a California CDA/permit or 12 college units in related fields, CPR/First Aid, and a valid CA driver’s license. The position is full-time with benefits and 10-month work year.

Qualifications

• Must have a Children's Center Permit or CDA.
• OR completion of 12 college units in recreation, physical education, elementary education or early childhood development.
• CPR Certificate and First Aid required.
• Current California driver's license.
• Reading, math and writing test required unless waived by prior education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement learning and enrichment experiences for students.
• Provide for the physical care and safety of children.
• Exercise lead supervision over extended day program teachers and assistants.
• Maintain official documents and records; perform related work as assigned.
