Job summary

Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District seeks an Expanded Learning Assistant to develop and implement lessons aligned with the ELO-P. You will supervise students, prepare materials, and support the Expanded Learning Site Lead in daily activities.

The role involves organizing play, ensuring safety, and maintaining records, with responsibilities including snack prep and communications with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in licensed or exempt preschool facility or school-age program preferred.
• High school diploma with 12 ECE core units from an accredited college.
• CPR/First Aid certification required; Food Manager certification within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with ELO-P and district goals.
• Supervise students during all program activities and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Prepare and serve daily snacks per USDA Harvest of the Month guidance.
• Perform record-keeping tasks such as attendance, check-in/out, and reporting.
