• Certificate of Proficiency for Instructional Aides (NCLB certificate).
• College Associates degree or higher.

Expanded-Day Learning Classroom Lead (4.7 hours per day) PCN# 260193 - Virginia Peterson Elementary Under the direction of the After-School Program coordinator and Site Leader, the Expanded-Day Learning Classroom Lead will assist in the care, supervision, planning and implementation of learning activities of children enrolled in the After-School Program in accordance with school district policies and in compliance with State and Federal regulations.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education:

• *High School Graduation or equivalent (required) Must meet one of the following requirements:
• ~48 semester college units required (provide transcripts)
• ~Pass District Paraeducator Exam **This district exam is given every Thursday at the PRJUSD District office at 1 pm (800 Niblick Rd, Paso Robles)**
• ~Certificate of Proficiency for Instructional Aides (NCLB certificate)

EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of the general needs and behavior of children. Experience working in an educational setting (desired)
