Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) seeks an Exhibits Manager for the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC. This full‑time role leads exhibition development, production, and maintenance, coordinating with Operations, Events, Marketing, and Communications to deliver engaging guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple high‑profile projects, translate content into exhibits, and uphold on‑mission, on-time, on-budget delivery while supervising one staff member.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Museum Studies preferred with 10+ years in a museum/science center or similar organization.
• Demonstrated experience developing exhibits from concept to completion with strong project management.
• Ability to transform curatorial concepts into designs and guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Museum and Industry Affairs staff to organize exhibit content as part of the development team.
• Develop exhibits from conception to completion including schedules, milestones, and documents.
• Create realistic schedules for multiple simultaneous exhibition projects and track progress.
• Translate curatorial concepts into designs using sketches, models, and drawings.
• Coordinate design packages with internal partners and external vendors for review.
• Monitor budgets and expenses for exhibit projects and prepare periodic progress reports.
• Maintain accurate records and archives of exhibitions.
