Job summary

Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) seeks an Exhibits Manager for the NASCAR Hall of Fame exhibition development team. You will oversee production, installation, and maintenance of high-quality exhibits, managing timelines, budgets, and collaboration with Operations, Events, Marketing, and Communications to deliver engaging guest experiences.

The role requires leading multiple projects, strong project management, and experience converting content into immersive exhibitions.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Museum Studies preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in a museum/science center or similar organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with museum staff to organize exhibit content as part of exhibition development.
• Develop exhibits from conception to completion with project plans and milestones.
• Create realistic schedules for multiple concurrent exhibition projects.
• Translate curatorial concepts into designs and guest experiences.
• Coordinate design packages and prototypes with vendors for review.
• Track exhibit refresh needs and manage content-to-production transitions.
• Oversee exhibit budgets and prepare progress reports.
