Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks an Executive Vice President (EVP) to assist the Operating Company President in leading strategies and initiatives across functional areas such as sales, procurement, operations, finance and HR.

The EVP is accountable for achieving profit and expense targets, ensuring compliance with policies, and developing policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement. This role is designed as executive development toward an Operating Company President position.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 6–10 years of senior management experience.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operating Company President in leading strategies and initiatives across sales, procurement, operations, finance and HR.
• Accountable for achieving profit, sales and expense targets in assigned areas.
• Ensure policies and practices comply with organizational standards.
• This role is an executive development path toward a President position.
• Develops and implements operating policies and procedures across functional areas.
• Evaluates feasibility of new or revised systems and processes for continuous improvement.
• May lead specific functional areas while gaining broad understanding of all areas.
• Oversees performance management, talent development and succession planning.
• Promotes a respectful, productive work environment and accountability culture.
• Leads planning and budgeting to meet business objectives.
