Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a VP of Procurement to define and execute the enterprise-wide sourcing strategy across all business units. You will lead supplier negotiations, contract governance, and cost-reduction initiatives while guiding a high-performing procurement organization.

You will partner with finance, operations, and legal to align procurement with profitability goals, regulatory compliance, and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field required.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Procurement.
Extensive experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain management, and enterprise-wide procurement leadership.
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost reduction, productivity improvement, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale procurement functions and influence senior stakeholders across organizational lines.
Strong analytical and financial acumen, including budgeting, cost management, risk analysis, and procurement performance measurement.

Responsibilities

Establish and lead the enterprise procurement strategy aligned with long-term goals and cost savings objectives.
Provide executive oversight for procurement operations across major business units and procurement categories.
Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, value, and continuity of supply.
Lead contract strategy and high-value negotiations with compliance to policies and regulations.
Identify and oversee cost reduction, productivity improvements, and value creation initiatives across the supply chain.
Monitor market trends, pricing, supplier performance, and risks to inform sourcing decisions.
