Job summary

Talent With Heart seeks a results-driven Vice President of Operations to lead a growing multi-site 3PL network in Kentucky and beyond. The role oversees warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and value-added services with P&L responsibility and a focus on profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the CEO, the VP will build strong leadership pipelines, standardize processes, and drive strategic planning, budgeting, and capital investments across six states while traveling

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in 3PL, warehousing, distribution, or related industry.
• 5+ years overseeing multi-site operations through directors, regional managers, or senior leadership teams.
• Proven full P&L responsibility across multiple facilities.
• Strong track record of improving efficiency, profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience launching new facilities or expanding operations with major accounts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-site warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and logistics across six states.
• Develop Directors of Operations and senior leaders; ensure accountability and performance.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility, drive profitability and cost control.
• Standardize procedures, metrics, and continuous improvement across locations.
• Lead new facility startups, customer implementations, and expansions.
• Collaborate with Sales and executive leadership on growth and pricing.
• Leverage WMS, EDI, and reporting to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Implement labor management and efficiency initiatives.
• Mentor and develop leadership talent; ensure safety compliance.
• Participate in strategic planning and budgeting.
