Job summary

CenterPoint Energy, Inc. is seeking an executive leader to oversee the Supply Chain Capital Delivery program. This role translates capital plans into executable contracting, sourcing and supplier strategies across major transmission and substation projects.

You will lead a diverse team of professionals and partners, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective deployment of capital initiatives. The role requires deep experience in EPC contracting, market engagement, and senior leadership within

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or related discipline.
• Ten years of senior leadership experience directing major EPC, construction, engineering or capital procurement activities.
• Experience supporting multi-billion-dollar annual capital portfolios and cross-functional partnerships.
• Experience in electric utility, energy or infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for the Supply Chain Capital Delivery function.
• Translate the capital plan into integrated, multi-year contracting, sourcing and supplier strategies.
• Lead EPC and major construction contracting, including market engagement and commercial structures.
• Establish contracting strategies by project and work type (EPC, design-build, target price, etc.).
• Partner with Project Controls, Finance and Legal to establish governance, cost transparency and risk management.
• Present capital supply chain strategies and performance to senior leadership and Board.
