Job summary

CenterPoint Energy is seeking a Senior Supervisor for Portfolio Large Load to lead strategic sourcing, EPC contracting, and commercial oversight for a portfolio of large capital projects. You will manage procurement plans, supplier relationships, and risk mitigation in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Project Management teams.

The role emphasizes market condition insight, should-cost models, and governance across long-lead materials, with a focus on delivering value while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in capital projects, supply chain, and EPC contracting.
• Experience leading commercial and project execution of EPC and construction contractors.

Responsibilities

• Own procurement strategy across a portfolio of large-scale capital projects.
• Lead EPC contract negotiation, execution, and ongoing management.
• Oversee long-lead planning and critical equipment & materials procurement.
• Develop contracting frameworks, MSAs, and commercial models.
• Collaborate with Legal, Project Managers and Finance for negotiations and risk management.
• Drive supplier performance management and risk mitigation.
