Job summary

Abridge is seeking a Leadership Recruiter, Tech to lead executive searches for engineering, AI/ML, product, and design leaders. You will partner with the CTO and VP of Product to shape how we hire when scaling, with responsibility for VP+, Head-of, and Director-level roles.

This is a senior IC role reporting to Recruiting leadership. Based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule (Mondays and Wednesdays), you will build pipelines, assess leadership potential, negotiate offers, and drive a

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting experience in tech
• 5+ years leading executive searches (VP+)
• Credibility with CEOs and executive teams
• Discretion with confidential searches
• Experience negotiating offers and equity for senior roles

Responsibilities

• Run confidential, high-stakes searches for leaders in Engineering, AI/Research, Product, and Design
• Partner with executives to define role scope, success criteria, and interview panels
• Build your pipeline through direct sourcing, networks, and referrals
• Engage external search firms when appropriate and manage their involvement
• Assess leadership strength including scope and judgment
• Guide candidates through the process and close them with a compelling story about our mission and growth
• Structure and negotiate senior offers with Recruiting leadership and Finance
• Track market intelligence on talent, compensation, and competitors and share with leadership
• Improve our executive hiring process, scorecards, and candidate experience
• Use data to report on search progress and pipeline health
